Good friendly service and meals. Thursday night steak night is great value. Can be a bit noisy when there is a crowd.
A group of friends and I went to the steak night recently. The music coming out of the speakers was so loud we couldn't hear each other speak let alone think! Are they trying to attract people or repel them? I asked the bar staff very politely if they could turn it down a bit. They said they would and then didn't. Left with a splitting headache. Why is the service so bad in this country?????
Ordered 2 pizzas from the pub, firstly the lady that works in the pizza section was lovely & very helpful. Secondly I ordered a supreme pizza & a satay chicken pizza they were fresh & full of flavour!!!!! Very happy with our meal.....
Great atmosphere on the deck with live music (Big River Blues Band) on a Sunday afternoon. It's a shame that the area for smoking is given undercover priority...that being said, I will happily return. The kitchen chef was "blunt" and unnecessarily so and could have pointed me to the separate Pizza window out the front . Pizza's were excellent and worth the short wait. Good job OVH.
