Waited close to an hour for our takeaway order. Understandable in holiday time but when we finally got it home order was wrong. The "fresh" grilled snapper was like an old leather boot, chips were soggy, cold and oily and potato scallop (homemade on the menu) was oily batter with very little potato. A change of deep frying oil was obviously due a long time ago. The worst fish and chips we've had in a long time. Credit to the owner when I rang to tell her the order was wrong, offered a refund the next day. Shame we were leaving town.
Used to be great...Fish pieces yesterday were overcooked and dry...chips were inedible...disappointing
Very good, they have good chips which is hard to find now with fast food . They were coping so well , with it being very busy this time of year wish them best for new year .
Between this and boardwalk best take away foods within 50km
We were driving back from the Gold Coast and we've been here before so we called in and got fish and chips they are always nice here and the staff are really friendly so we enjoyed another lot of fish and chips yummy it is only a short drive off the highway but well worth it from mwh
